That is how it was a couple of days ago. Of course, I'm on vacation so it didn't matter. :grin:

The blower is out in the truck so driving my girlfriend to work becomes an epic battle for survival as one is frantically scraping the inside of the windshield to see as cars are swerving around in the snow. :lol:

Haha you guys are hilarious.  That looks like about two inches of snow.

LMAO! oohhh wow man. Dont post those pics and call that snow. Thats a fine day for work in these parts! Fuck schools wouldnt even be closed for that pile right there. Come back when you cant open the front door because its being wedged shut with snow and ice (and then hafta call the neighbours over to come dig your ass out with his team of children snow shovellers :smile: )

in CT there has not even been a dusting of snow all winter long. i think i seen flurry's twice but they melted before they hit or on contact. this is the most messed up winter yet.

No, we get plenty of rain here in Portland. Actually, the real reason why work was canceled was because icy rain is expected later today.

that's funny because here in the upper midwest nothing would be cancelled with that small of an amount.  Damn, we got like ten inches overnight last month and work still wasn't cancelled for me.  It should have been cancelled because I nearly died trying to get there and had to turn back half way and use a paid vacation day.  :mad:

We have about the same amount of snow here, too. I think everywhere in the Midwest for the most part was pretty much without snow this year up until a couple of days ago. Not too much snow, but enough to make it feel like winter, with the shoveling and the frozen windshields and the cop trailing my girlfriend for a few miles before slamming into another car and almost her while driving my truck. :lol:

No, actually. But the problem isn't a matter of my car being stuck in snow, but rather stuck on an icy hill. I will probably at least attempt to make it to work tomorrow, assuming it doesn't get worse. But if I can't move my car, I'll have to call in.
