Ahhh, the Holiday Binge-fest
    #6407867 -

Odly enough, it seems as if I actually lost weight this year. But, spent nearly a week at my parents eating shitty food and watching TV all day. By the 5th day, I dug up some shorts and got my mom to drop me off at a gym for a few hours. By the end of the workout, I felt so good I almost felt high.

Came home, hit up the gym for 3 hours and felt AMAZING after.

I was all worried that "oh, if I get home for the holidays and lazy, I'm going to fall out of my gym routine/eating better/etc", but if anything - being home just reinforced my desire to treat my body better.

But hey, now down to 198, which puts me into the 'normal weight' as far as BMI goes, woot :P

good work, i have been trying the healthy life thing out. things i have wanted to do but never got to. stopped smoking cigs, been going to the gym every other day, and trying to eat better.

the gym is great, but it can be hard after work when i am all tired. just have to stick with it because i have been feeling so much better/have more energy since i started working out again.

congrats on the weight.

Yeah, the gym routine can be a bitch to get into. Luckily, I'm a student - and have found that I can easily fit in the gym in the mornings before my 1st class usually.

When I was working over the summer, by time 5pm rolled by - I just wanted to get home. Now and then I'd try and goto the gym, but at 5pm it was so busy I was always waiting for machines / etc which got annoying, and if I went home first - the likelyhood of me heading back out after supper was pretty minimal, even if it is only a 20 min walk away.

I think when I get a job again, I'm going to try and go in the mornings - will be a bitch re-adjusting my internal clock to get up early enough, but I find that when the gym is the 1st thing I do that day - I have more energy all day.
