Re: Ever had a package stolen from your door? [Re: a2ndopinion]

I know the feeling, I'm expecting things as well. Some of which are coming from Shroomery trades. It would suck if someone stole it, then I wouldn't really know if I could trust the senders or not. I'd think I got ripped off by them at first probably :undecided:

i don't know what i'm waiting for, or where it's from.  my boyfriend just told me it was a gift for me and that i can't look at the box when it comes.  i guess i'll have to sign for it with my eyes closed...

My fed ex man is a fuck-tard. The past 3 things that have come via fed ex were first delivered to the wrong address. Each time, I was left freaking out because the operator kept telling me "Well sir, it was delivered Oct 2nd at 11:13 am to such an such address" then I get all "No bitch, I've been here all damn day waiting on it. Don't tell me it's here when it so obviously aint!" 3 days later, package comes.

Don't give up hope. You know what they say about people who steal packages

My brother had a snowblower stolen from his front porch. I tried to talk him into rigging up an old boom box or something and leaving it on his front porch for his thieving neighbors to steal. I'd rig it with a few teargas grenades or something similar. Wouldn't wanna kill anyone over something like that, just give them an unforgettable experience. Suppose you could mail yourself something like that too.. just leave it on the porch for as long as it takes.

13 is plenty old enough to know better than to do some stupid shit like that, IMO.  and the fact that it was Christmas just means you stole somebody else's gift which makes you look even more like a jerk.  again, IMO.

I'm a little burnt so pardon me.

Basically the drivers have permission to leave packages at your door step if you're not considered to be in a high transient area. I know that's subjective, but whatever. Usually three delivery attempts are made and then you have to pick it up, if it's Fed Ex. With UPS, they just leave it in an area that's not visible (yeah fuckin' right).

If you live in an apartment, UPS won't leave the package. But if you know you won't be able to sign for the package, it's your responsibility to make alternate arrangements to have it delivered to someone who CAN sign for it.

But I fucking hate UPS and Fed Ex... they're a bunch of scum sucking sons of bitches and I've had shit jacked too. Just call them up... they've got a process... I think you might have to file a police report but I don't quite remember. Just call em up with your tracking number and some bozo in Customer Care will do their best to help you (if they're not a twat).
