I just quit World of Warcraft

God damn, I am wanting to play it even more now that I quit it. Uninstalled it, going to give my installation CDs to my friend to hide. Any tips on quitting this ridiculously addictive game?

LOL, open up a WOW rehab clinic. Do it up like A Clockwork Orange. Strapped in, eyes opened, and create strong negative association with that goddam cyber devil game!!!
I quit about 4 times in total. Last time I quit, I didn't have any urges. Try a console game, jerk off, get high, get a diff game? Maybe hire some hot bitches to make fun of you cuz u like a nerd game for nerds?

Congrats man, I quit about 4 months ago and it was the best decision ever. The best thing to do is find something else to do with your time that you find just as enjoyable (like growing shrooms). Also don't talk about it with your friends who still play it, don't get on the WoW forums, don't think about WoW, don't talk to old guild mates. Basically its all or nothing with that game (like cigarettes)

wow I'm lucky I never got into that game. I usually just play GW for a while but then I quit for a while cuz it gets boring. I know my life would be doomed if I ever got my hands on that game.

I occasionally chat with someone who's said (by others) to be one of europe's best WoW players. He became one of the best by playing WoW, in his words, 15 hours a day for two years straight. He did this to escape Life but failed, showing how not even the brightest Tauren shaman can outsmart reality.

It may well be that you tried to escape life as much as you wanted to play the game. To be rid of the temptation, you'll need to fix both.

eh you guys are crazy. i havent played in 3 days. i havent wanted to at all, but i'm trying to bring myself to because i want to be as close to 60 as i can when the expansion comes out. maybe i should log in now and get a level tho...

Haha, I quit WoW over a year ago when I started smoking pot. Honestly, I think I made a healthy choice. Drugs, my anti-WoW!

Also, the Wii is absurdly fun to play while stoned. Boxing gets intense.

i got banned fromnthe game about a year and a half ago. It was really easy to cheat when i played, i think theyve since patched that. But yeah they also caught me after about a month of cheating.

People act like it's WoW's fault they play it so much..

It's a game people. There is more to life. Go outside, smoke some weed. Chill with friends. Play wow when you have nothing else to do :shrug:
