avi to wmv

i am trying to get my xbox 360 to play movies and i did. but now i can only play video files that are WMV. can any one show me a simple program or way i can convert avi to wmv. or where i can get movies or videos that are wmv.

winavi is what you seek
also does a lot of other stuff
