I have a splinter
    #6357945 -

in my middle finger on the fingerprint side. 

It's in there good.  I've been picking at it for a half hour with tweezers and trying to pinch it out with my thumbs.  It won't budge.

Should I go buy a needle to cut around it and pull it out?  :syringe:

needles will do the trick.  Push the needle in and push the splinter out :laugh:

depending on how deep it is, sterilize the needle and get it out to avoid infection.

that's nothing compared to what happened to me last week though, cut right through the tip of my little finger with a piece of glass; the wound was pretty fucking deep but it's healing up now.

I'm just trying to cut myself open a little so that I can get the tweezer in deep enough to pull this thing out

Do you mean put the needle in behind the splinter and push out?  Cut that sounds rough

Yeah, but is yours too deep to get it in there? Sometimes you get those splinters wedged into the muscle just below the skin, and it bleeds like a mofo and you gotta cut it out.
