Im broke now too.

But i bet right at this very moment. Ive spent the same amount on my equipment as i would have spent buying bud.

I will soon have a QP every month though, with minimal upkeep charge. (basically just nutrients)

don't anticipate trying to beat the market, you really can't. it is a semi-strong environment and new information doesn't drag its ass in affecting stock prices. reading books and things like the wall street journal are great - as a historical view for trends. by the time the author of any of those things gets the pen to the paper the market has already adjusted.

there is no quick money. if you have a high income then you can risk stocks. if you are getting a lump sum and can't anticipate the next one, then slow, low-risk growth is the best idea.

and anyway, why would a guy want to sell a book and give away his secret anyway? there is only so much money and he doesn't want you to have it. they write the book to make money off you.
