I voted for Iron Maiden. I never liked Dave Mustaine's vocals...music was cool...but Maiden had it all.

Powerslave was my alltime favorite album...Los'fer words rips!!

Maiden...Megadeth pisses me off.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Keep listening... Steve Harris is awesome, and if you have any interest in history, their songs have great lyrics.

Megadeth all the way.

Maiden is good, but their songs get repetitive as far as chord progressions and such. If you can play one song, you can play at least 15 others.

Not to mention what a king of guitar Dave Mustiane is.

megadeth wouldn't put on nearly as good of a show as maiden, it's metal theatre baby!

I'd have to say Iron Maiden but Megadeth aint bad. Countdown to Extinction is the first album I tripped to when I was 14. I don't listen to either band these days but I used to love both.
