i like vodka, but i don't like cheap vodka that tastes like bugspray. i'm wondering a few things like will the alcohol draw out impurities that have built up in an old brita filter? is this really legit? are there any dangerous substances in a water filter that could become health risk

It does make the vodka taste better, but you can only use the Brita filter once. Just use the money on better vodka not a Brita filter.

dont use cheap vodka to clean a birtta filter you plan on using to filter water,
just buy a filter....

im not sure i recall properly

but:

use dryed epsom salts to leach the water out.

then run it through the filter(or just some active charcoal)

although, i think it may just be easier and cheaper to,in the long run , buy real booze from the get-go
