I like Phil Ivey, and Allen Cunningham

i hate Jamie Gold, current World Champ.

daniel negrenau, phil ivey, and mike matusow are my favorites to watch.

jamie gold is a jack ass, you are correct. dutch boyd is also a jerk off.

Chris Ferguson is the one I most identify with, and certainly one of the best. And Scotty Nguyen rocks too.

Jamie Gold is indeed a douche, and a very lucky one at that. I seriously doubt he will ever win another big tournament.

I was watching Phil Ivey in a tournament. He folded pocket kings because he thought his opponent had aces. His opponent did have aces. Best read I ever saw. I'm the biggest fan of guys that can read their opponents really well. I saw Doyle Brunson tell two guys what their hands were in a hand he folded. Amazing! It's like you got to be a psychic to play cards that good.

It impresses the hell out of me. That is the absolut most intimidating thing you can do almost. Imagine sitting across the felt from a guy. It's for all the money. You raise the pot size. Your opponent tels you what you're holding. Just the fact that he knew my hand is enough for me to fold.

hence why id never play poker with someone like doyle brunson. I have hard enough time taking first in my home games when i play, seems like the majority of time im finishing second or third. I suck at heads up lol.

i have had some success in tournaments..

I won a tournament last year that started with about 70 people...
I finshed 6th in a tourny of over 100
and most recently i finished 13th out of 99 on Wednesday night...

Im glad everyone agrees with me that Jamie Gold is a junkballer who played crap cards and got extremeley lucky..

I love when people try to guess my hand. If you tell them to pay to see if they're right, they usually do... And they're usually wrong. :smile:
