Be sure you bother everyone you see to take a picture of you in front of a pointless piece of scenery. Especially people that are obviously in a rush to get somewhere. They like to do that here.

m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

I lived in Japan for 2 years. It's really cramped, polluted, and noisy. There are some nice parts, though.

Climb Fuji! It's quite the experience. If you go to do it, I would recomend climbing up during the night so you can watch the sunrise. Plus, if you saw what you were climbing on you would probably never make it to the top lol.

Have fun.

Oh, and try Calpis (pronounced sort of like "Cow Piss" by the japanese). It's a milk based drink that's pretty tasty. I've got a carton of it in my fridge right now.

Avoid green tea soft serve ice cream =X

Hit up the restaurants! There's a lot of cool spots in Japan. Be open to trying new foods, as most of the stuff that sounds kinda gross actually turns out to be pretty tasty!

thanks a lot! yeah.. where going to be hitting up all sorts of places. Climbing Fuji would be a dream come true.. but not sure if I'm going to do that.

Where going to be staying in Osaka most of the trip. I believe we will be hitting up Kyoto too.


How did you end up living in japan for 2 years?

Save some money for beer at the airport. They sell it everywhere... so be prepared to make a drunken fool of yourself on the way home.
