IMO one of the most overlooked bands of the 90's. I don't think they get nearly enough credit for being such an awesome band.

I like 'em too. Hints, Allegations, and things left unsaid was the first CD I ever bought. Well actually, a friend in 7th grade gave it to me because he didnt want it anymore. I never listened to them extensively..always liked Shine, but any other of their albums you'd recommend?

i have a friend who suspects they are involved with something spiritual & powerful. but i haven't noticed anything that waves the flag for me.

what do you guys say?
is collective soul involved with some powerful magic?
do you know anything about the individual musicians, their beliefs?

Well, I heard that the singer and guitarist met in a church choir group, so I could imagine them being people of faith. And I think I sense some spirituality in their songs.

I liked their self-titled one from ten or twelve years ago. Haven't much liked anything since. :shrug:
