Pearl Oysters On Large Oak Log 2mnths

#613636 - 04/20/02 10:14 AM (24 years, 6 months ago)

This is a 14" diameter oak log spawned apprx. 2mnths ago with peral oyster mushrooms.
Will be able to fruit this log in another 2mnths. The conditions are in a very cool enviroment about 62 to 65 degrees firenhiet. This strain seems to be very agressive and probagates very rapidly under certain conditions. The log is kept inside a large 55 gallon trash liner. Misting heavily every 2 or 3 days.

Also works this aggressive with willow and other aspens such as birch, ash, and alder.
You can also use maple. This species can also be cased in mulch composed of sawdust, woodchips, cow manure, vermiculite, pro-mix potting soil, and perlite.

Can be spawned on birdseed and other various grains. I will be sending pics in every once in awhile.

Yes with home dowels... I have a natural resource in my back yard. I use twigs from a sycamore tree.

Check out my post about the narc in the Security Forum. What do you think about that shit?
