Trying to stay sober for at least 2 days in a row. Getting sleepy...being lazy.

I'm doing a lot better man, totally turning my life around. Thanks for asking brother. I got reconnected with the scene, and LSD...had some life-altering experiences that pointed out my issues (started when I was very young); basically I've been chasing something for years and years, thinking I needed it to be happy (fitting in, girls, various highs, etc, etc)....well said experience pointed out that the chase was vain, an illusion; I have all I need already, always have. The "All-Love" is always out there & awareness is the path.

So, I'm done with hard drugs, fuck dope, fuck coke, and so on and so forth. I want to go on the road, but in the meantime I'm going to take some classes at a community college, and I think I'm going to join their drama club; doing lighting or sound. I think I'll really like that, and I have friends in a band....they're awesome, and connected in the music world, so those skills will be invaluable. My one friend already said that when they need help I'm the first person he'll call.

So....all of this plus work should keep me out of trouble, I'll be learning and meeting new people. My whole attitude on life has changed. I'm really excited, looking forward to all of these new experiences. I feel so good & so happy, I've been blessed brothr.


What about you? how have you been? Done anything cool lately?

Depending on the type of headache, you might want to try a vaso-constrictor (like caffeine) instead of a vaso-dilator...

I've been plagued by headaches lately too, but mine are headaches of the soul, and those are harder to treat... :wink:

Hell yeah man, I'm loving life again. I add LSD & DMT to the list of drugs you mentioned, but that's it as far as the drugs go. I'm being myself, totally, all the time, everything else just falls into place....I'm feeling mad love man. Life is beautiful, I can't believe I ever let myself forget that.

Thanks for the insight bro. :laugh: I'm thinking it's either sinus related or nerve related, not too sure which. It's right in my forehead though and it's almost unbearable. The pod tea isn't really doing much for it yet. I took one 200mg ibuprofen and it really helped earlier though, thinking about taking another one soon. I'm starting to nod slightly and still no pain relief in my forehead.

Caffeine might do the trick but I try not to take it. I do however have excedrin with tylenol aspirin and caffeine.

If you feel like nodding, then going to sleep might be better -- let the body re-set its systems while you sleep -- and the headache will be gone in the morning.

The caffeine will only help if it's a vascular headache, caused by an expanded blood vessel pushing against nerves in the brain. If it's a sinus headache, you need a decongestant, but good luck getting one without a driver's license and an FBI background check anymore. If it's nerves, then sleep is probably the best thing, or a muscle relaxant, or tranq, (but not if its caused by an expanded blood vessel)...

It's complicated, but sleep almost always works (if you can)...

Yeah not exactly the "sleepy" nods per say man, poppy nods.. :lol: Drank a little too much, just went and :puke:, which actually felt really good. Going to lay down soon, even if sleep doesn't come fast it'll still feel righteous.

If it's alcohol related, drink lots of water; that will definitely help. It helps dilute the solvent in your tissues (yes, ethanol is a solvent)... :wink:

I'm doing okay. I've been overworked and overwrought lately, but that will change soon enough. I just gotta persevere like like Jason and Argonauts...

Ray Harryhausen kept throwing his creepy claymation monsters and skeletons at them, and they just kept trucking along; right on through, till the end of the movie... :smile:

If you feel you're overdoing it take a couple days off if possible man. Let your mind and body rest up a bit and then start cracking again. There's no reason to burn yourself out if you don't have to. :smile:
