Frustration consumes me.

So i've been downloading this file off of bittorrent for about 3 days now. It is finally so close to finishing with only 1 mb left. Every time it gets close to 1 minute remaining, it's seed and peer. So i stop it and start it again, and it does the same thing, gets close to 1 minute remaining than loses its seed and peer. Why doesn't it just add on to complete the 1mb that is left. It seems like it has to start over with each individual kb. Grrrrrr....

what kinda file are you dealing with?

Well, have you tried to open it anyway? Could just be a desktop.ini, or one of those others files that gets in there by accident/stupidity.

That's what was happening to me before I got DSL.


It is FRUSTRATING. I wanted to thrown my computer across the room.

I called a million different techs, and the consensus was that there was no way it was ever going to work because ... I forget the technical thing, but it was too slow and that made for errors that made it not workable.

can you afford DSL?

I think that was the problem. I downloaded another bit torrent client, and tried downloading it, it completed but it said there was an error in file 751. It retried but the same error. So i just tried to open it anyway, and it works!
