Anyone know anything about computers?

What are some good, free, long-lasting anti-virus programs and spyware remover's/protectors?

anyone can help would be greatly appreciated=D

Spyot S&D
Hijack This
Bazooka Spyware Scanner
Peer guardian (for ip blocking)

first thing to use is that thing on your shoulders, be careful

heres what I use, no their not really free.
mcafee AV
counterspy spyware/adware catcher
true image drive image program,
I dont ever have any problems,

I'm just looking for general computer protection... Any recommendations like i don't even know what I need haha.

everyone is different, I dont want to try and tell you, to buy something.

i have been very satisfied with AVG Free for antivirus. It updates daily and never gives me any problems.

for spyware, i use adaware and spybot search and destroy. also both free.
