something humorous for when your power cuts off

sit outside and listen for the sound of all the ac's cutting back on when the power returns..

ours went out briefly last night and while i was outside i noticed that even some of the houses around here that are boarded up for the storm season and vacant had their air cutting on. it was strangely tremendous. made me wonder how the most densely populated areas can manage with so many things running at once.

then i remembered all the rolling blackouts.

i was going to ask if anyone around here's being affected by power outages going on right now but i guess a lack of responses would well answer the question.
