YOu should buy the new intel since it runs much better, unless you got a current setup for amd

I do, that's the whole point of the upgrade. All I have to do is drop in the new CPU and go. The new Intel chips do look pretty enticing though.

Prices fell because intel forced them to drop the prices, because of their new cpu's being released at a lower price. The next 6 months or so is gonna be a huge price war between the two companies, and if you have been waiting to upgrade the time is now before the prices rise again

Yep, AMD HAD to drop their prices to compete with Intels new Duo chips. I can't wait to see how the K8L's perform though.

I hope DDR2 memory makes some leaps in performance , because right now it's bunk, or they just move to DDR3 for the K8L's and really show some performance.
