its about 24 in. tall, made originally from wax and then casted into bronze from the lost wax technique. I made it with the intentions of putting straps on it but bronze is just so damn heavy you have to just hold it by the bottom horn to perform, weighing in at a good 25 lbs. I did a performance with this mask and the previous pig intestine mask together- this particular 3 horned mask was the sooth sayer speaking about the Dynamic Spiral and the color relationships between people and their evolution (if there's and any Ken Wilber fans out there, hooray!)

Ultimately the conversation was about how each frequency of color has a category relating to it, each of which is called a "meme;" each color represents a different stage of evolution, each successive stage transcending the previous- Wilber did not just make this up, he is referencing a well explored scientific theory called Spiral Dynamics (Don Beck & Chris Cowan) i held the mask to my face and spoke of these meme's, put down the mask and then conversed with myself as though i had no fucking clue what this 3 horned luney was doing in the same room as me. after about 5 minutes of conversation, I left the room and put the wire and pig intestine mask on, reentered the room as 'the face of death's awareness' and can amok with every intention of being a well rounded. So, yes, this is how i used the mask after it was made and now it is here for criticism and open pleasure for all of you~
