shrooms in western north carolina and ?'s

ok i jus signed up for this like 10 mins ago and im sorry if i don't do something right but im trying to find out which kind of shrooms(and what they look like) grow in western north carolina
i have found shrooms growing in damp wooded areas coming out of cow poop and hay and they seem like they would be good shrooms and they also were real slimey, they were about as tall as a pinky finger maybe and the stem was as big as my pinky finger and the cap was a bell and was kinda yellow grey maybe and they stem was white (im jus wondering if these are like the kind that are good(when i say good i mean like give you a trip and everything))

also i need some tips in taking shrooms and some of my other questions are
-can we pick the shrooms put them in a bag and leave them there for a couple hours then eat them when my parents are asleep and they will still be good or do i need to dry them out?
-how long of a trip would it be?
-should i put my knifes away hidden when we take the shrooms?
-do you have any tips for me and my friend in taking them or anything?
