This might work...
What do you guys think are the MUST HAVE plants for a garden to be considered ethnobotanical!??
I'd like to expand on my collection... at the moment I've got a little cacti garden...which rocks!! and also a Saly D... I've got a few in mind, but it would be cool to see what the shroomites recommend!!! and don't forget to post your gardens pics!!! and also any tips along with it I'll have some photos soonish..
peace!!

cactus are a must, they grow in many many places and you can pretty much forget about em for a while.
sally d is good but she requires alot of attention. pick up some morning glory, HBWR, or ololiuqui, to line your fences with.
Datura species works well along pathways, or in a corner, they are BEAUTIFUL. same with the brugmansia tree species, but u might get dumb teenagers pickin them out of your yard, and u might see them on the TV cutting off their wanker with an electric kitchen knife into a tub of spaghettios.

Brugmansia is very nice, i've got a fairly big tree in my garden, along with foxglove, passion flower, and morning glories. maybe some coleus would be good also. If you live in the proper climate, you should deffinatly grow some plants with N,N-DMT.
oh, and how could you forget, Papaver Somniferum.
Goodluck man, sounds like you have a pretty good garden already, post some pics!

Ideally, I would like to have:
N. rustica, P. Somniferum, P. viridis, L. Williamsii, an active trich, S. divinorum, D. metel/inoxia etc E. novogranatense, M. speciosa, and hbwr/rivea corymbosa etc
That covers just about all the major ones, IMHO. And then you could add things like heimia salicifolia, logochilus inebrians, maybe something like pleiospilos bolusii etc. But the first list basically covers all the really powerful stuff I think. However, it's not always easy to get a good cactus garden AND grow lots of salvia/psychotria etc, for example. You might want to concentrate on things that like similar conditions, just to make looking after them a bit easier!

poppies, daturas/Brugmansia are a must for any garden of mine. Not that I use them or anyting, but they look nice and once you have a garden youll never need seeds again.

If your already growing Salvia, Stick a Psychotria plant next to it, they like very similar conditions, Acacia's are pretty easy to grow (obtusifolia is my favorite, leaves are used instead of bark or roots), Def. needs some N. Rustica, but it's probably too late too plant this year, cactus is a must, and the easiest to grow, Rivea corymbosa sets seed much easier than HBWR, Datura's are very hardy once started, Passionflower are just plain beautiful, and you can't forget coffee!

blue lotus would seem nice to grow, but i personally have no where to put it besides my pool,(dont think so) a lil fish pond,(about 1 foot deep, by 5 feet) or the shitty swamp behind my house.

actualy I believe there was a story of a kid who ate some datura and cut his wanker off on the kitchen table right in front of his mom and then ran away.
or something crazy and unintelligent such as that.
slicing off that serpent lord of doom with brilliant valor probably seemed like fun to him at the time.

I love the list. All of those would be great additions to your garden. I would expecially recommend the following. P. somniferum E. novogranatense S. divinorum L. Williamsii Cannabis (a few different strains for variety)
