this fucking sucks

i'm using my dad's laptop right now because it's the only computer with a modem for dialup. they shut off our fucking internet because they are stupid. my mum was very pissed earlier.

anyway, i won't be able to use this laptop much, but he let me use it tonight. hopefully we'll get our normal internet back by friday ... such a long way away. :frown:

i'm so not used to typing on this laptop.

Yeah, laptops freak me out because I've rarely used one. I think that I would really like them if I got one.

you get used to it after a while.  Took me a few weeks of typing to get over the cramped feeling on the keyboard.  However having a laptop makes your life a fuckton easier at school. Hope you get your connection running soon :smile:

haha ya having your internet down sucks ass...I got a pretty good connection here...I don't know EXACTLY what its rated at but I can tell ya that I d/l at over 300k consistently and upload at over 100k

and its only $30 a month canadian :laugh:...canada is actually ahead of the us for internet(well at least we were I have no idea if thats still the case)...we had good affordable dsl long before the us did

ya my bad...trust me tho I know what your going through...I've had a bunch of times that internet was down for sometimes a couple months(last time it went down which was just a few weeks ago was 2 weeks) we had a phone line outside our house that had disintigrated(sp?) and everytime there was a storm or it rained our modem would go out..when they finally came out to check the problem and touched that line it fell apart in the dudes hand...this last time was from my grandmas husband who just built a room downstairs...he knocked out the phones connection(only the jack here for the internet of course) I asked him if he touched anything and he assured me he didn't :laugh:

damn .. it literally disentigrated, eh? that's crazy. we have problems with our connection when it rains as well, but the whole neighbourhood does also, so it's not just us.

I dunno I heard that movie kinda sucks(the original definitely did) actually we rented the original one night when my sister had a party...we watched it at the end of the night when everyone was just chillin...me and this other guy spent the whole movie pointing out reasons why it was so lame(which is actually pretty fun to do sometimes) I did this with cabin fever as well...what a pos :laugh:

if u haven't seen it yet I would HIGHLY recommend the devils rejects...but my guess is u already have...now thats horror done right!(and it dosen't happen often)
