It just seems to me that the more spores u spread, the quicker theyll cover the jar.

More spores doesn't neccessarily mean faster colonization in a pf style cake. You use 1 cc per jar it can only cover a small area and must spread out from there. 100 spores or 10,000 spores in a tiny inoculation area is going to look pretty much the same and can't really spread any faster than mycelium can grow. If you could spread all those spores throughout the cake by injecting more volume instead of in discrete spots, then you would see faster colonization. There is a point of diminishing returns in spore density. Taken to the extreme, would a thick paste of near pure spores in a syringe colonize faster than a clear syringe? Volume is the key, not density.

not saying you would, but sounds like agreat and easy way to make a hundred clear syringes , sell and can u spell profit..? would never have to grow a shroom. not saying this is what the plan is.or of anyone for that matter, .otherwise I think more spores just creates too many little subcultures fighting for that little space of their own....more is not better in this case I think.....hey probably could make a thousand petri plates .... great strain selection project....ahh the isolated strain....the chosen ones... so if cultivating, go the other way...... as a suggestion..... care..farmer..
