Shroom Sickness?

I was flipping through the mmgg earlier and came across a spot that said sometimes shrooms will grow on contaminated substrate and will become toxic. Has anybody ever heard of this actually happening or if anybody has ever gotten sick off a contamed shroom? The guide said that the toxins could become strong enough to kill a person, so now its got me all paranoid. Thanks and take care!

I've heard of people getting sick from shrooms before.  I don't know if it was from contams or what.  I actually watch a friend spend two days vomitting and shaking like he had parkinsons from a bag of shrooms he ate a few days prior.  I've never come across this with home cultivated shrooms, but you never know with the commercial shit you get on the street.

Well Ive got one pf cake in isolation right now, the cake itself looks good but many of the new pins have small spots of a dark green mold. Very much like the kind of mold that grows on bread. I also had a little nasty fruit which i removed off the cake and opened up the stem and found it to be a greenish blue through the whole stem. It smelt just like that normal mushroom smell but im not sure what to think of it. Of course im not going to consume any of the fruits off this cake till im sure that they are safe. Any information would be great :)

if they are new mushrooms forming then they will probally look fuzzy, kind of like bread mold. This is normal. When you broke them off and saw the greenish blue, that was a good sign that your mushrooms are psychedilic and highly saught after. So dont sweat

I have eaten 2 grams of shrooms, knowing before hand that there was a contamination on it. I ended up sick for about a week. But my roomate was also sick that week. Im sure he gave me the cold since it was a common cold. But I can never be too sure. I wont take anymore chances like that...
