Probably go the beer route.  But not too much beer. 

I'm just loungin'... I looked at a place today that seems promising, but I have a bunch of other places to look at.  Moving sucks.

I was reading MS's post earlier about you wanting a balcony and her wanting big closets. :lol: Hopefully you guys can find a place that you both like equally. Did the place you checked out today have a balcony by any chance? That would be killer during the spring & summer. Hell you could even get a wireless router and a cheap laptop just to use for the net and what not. That would be nice to sit out on a balcony in a comfy lawn chair surfing the net. :yesnod:

Hello and good-night! Hope good things for all of you. Had a good day casue I paid my legal fees and had my daughter's birthday party. Tonight I have none but the Highest hopes. What kind of hotel they got you in Snaggletooth? 1star or 4star? If it's a business expense I hope you exploited it ungraciously- and be sure to call a hooker and explain it as a consultation fee!

No balcony at this place, but it does have a back porch w/ lawn, something my current apt. doesn't have.  The closets are average sized, but there's so much more room in this place that it doesn't matter too much.  We use my aunt's huge basement for storage anyway.

But, we're not done looking.... we found a great place w/ a balcony that allows cats, but they couldn't let us move in until January.  I don't want to be homeless for 4 months.  :frown:

Yeah- that's why I like the Hilton and Hyatt Regency. 

Oh and yeah- balconys rock all to hell.  Can't feel the breeze inside- and usually they throw them in on every apartment deal in the world now because the rules of new home/apt construction are demanding of this aesthetic principle.

That sounds very promising bro. You've got the right idea not taking the first place you see though. On another note I'd go with a back yard over a balcony anyhow. Cookouts/get togethers, garden (if they'll let you), above ground pool (if they'd let you put one in, i dont see why not though), and much more. Is it like a full house or duplex type apt or something?

Well it's paid for by work of course, but were a small company, and I am in a small town,

Last night I stated at the Holiday Inn, and it sucked for 80,  :thumbdown:

I'm at Best Western for 60 and I like it,  :thumbup:


And YES I did look in the phone book for some company, :tongue:

1hr is $130, dont know about the selection, but I might give it a go tomorrow :grin:

It's a big house split into 3 apts. I'd kinda prefer the place with the blacony because it seems like the place overall had nicer maintenence, but we'll see how this ends up.

Ugh. it sucks, but it could always be worse and I'm thankful that it's not.
