heatbomb trouble

i have a heatbomb(http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Number=3316319) with a visi therm 50 watt heater in it. even at its highest setting(88) my grow area(small box) will only get to about 70. i covered the box with blankets and that brought it up to 75. is there somthing im doing wrong? i have it in a regular water bottle(plastic)like the calistoga ones. maybe i should use somthing different?

how cold is your house? That's pretty crazy your house stays below 70.

so...... any ideas anybody? maybe using a metal container would work better

I think it could be that the 50 watt just can`t do the eare of space you want it to . use smaller container or get bigger heater. JMO. I have a 150 watt water bomb in my incubator wich is 17 liter and it has no problem keeping it at 83 degrees. GL.
