After the 1st flush........

What's the best way to induce a 2nd/3rd flush? I"ve got some Puerto's cased in verm with all the proper conditions, there are no signs of contams yet and the first flush is over.

What is the best way to induce the next flush? I sprinkled the top layer with damp verm but I heard 'cold shocking' the casing or 'scratching' with a sterile, hot skewer might help. Thanks in advance
