Spare help for a noob!

Hey...sorry I'm a real noob here..but I really enjoy mushrooms active and nonactive..I would like to start growing several types of mushrooms...also some active and some just for food..
I was hoping to start off with active first though just because they are my favorite of the two and my friends are on my balls about it ever since I mentioned it.

I was wondering...On a scale of 1-10 how hard is it to grow cubes indoors? I would be willing to spend like $100-200 on the initial setup..(like a grow box, and humidifier etc, not including spore syringes)

With that budget in mind what should I buy to make my growing experience the most pain free and efficient?
Also where would be some good sites to check out to make the purchase or equipment and spores? I still live with my parents so I would need to make sure the packaging was discreet and stuff...

Thanks for your help..this site seems to be incredibly helpful so far..with the guides and FAQs but I think personal help is the most useful for me... :wink:

Read... Read... And then read some more.

I know that at first it can seem intimidating to the newcomer, but trust me. Once you follow a tek or 2 a couple of times, you will realize how easy alot of this stuff is.

For equip - Buy a Pressure cooker (Brand new) The rest you can pick up at thrift stores.

Oh and did I mention to READ??!

What would I use the pressure cooker for? I havnet seen them mentioned in any of the guides I read or maybe I was just breezing through them or something..I kind of wanted to buy something like one of these two...

Not hard at all, but read up on the Teks and try not to use hard earned cash on "kits." You have plenty of dough to get you started.

oh its cool i wont tell my parents..and my house is kind of large, so they probably wouldnt find it...

the two people that i told are my best friends...and they pretty much have no other friends or people that they would tell haha, so i dont think its that much of a problem.

also if for some reason i couldnt do indoor...is outdoor a possibility? can you grow cubies outdoor in PA?

we arent bailing you out when you do get busted, the security forum is full of
people that have been busted because they were ratted on by their best friends
