Slow Golden Teacher/Texas Growth (Advice pls)

So...I recently ordered the Canadian two pak from ralphsters (good guy, very fast shipping) I received a Golden Teacher and Pink Buffalo syringe aswell as the S.O.T.M wich at the time was Texas (probably still is) so I made up two lc's so far, 1 pink buffalo and 1 Golden teacher, the pink buffalo growing in the liquid medium is quite nice, but the GT's arnt doing to well, small myc growth very weak looking LC.
Anywho, my incubator was set at 26C for the last five days and the pink buffalo are just booming along while the golden teacher and texas strains are exhibiting no signs of germination. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a slow growth rate with GT's/Texas?
The incubator is now set to 28C/84F...yes, I know sometimes it takes up to 14 days for spores to germinate but I don't understand why these two are so slow...
here's a pic of the inside of the incubator

Help would be appreicated, and im not looking for any un-helpful smart ass comments from some miserable people. I dont need your help or want it anyone else, thanks in advance.

too many factors, growth varies from MS innoc to MS innoc. Just because one texan LC grows quickly doesnt mean all of the rest will follow suit.
I say your poor LC jars are either just really slow, or have contracted a contam. Start some new LC jars and keep an eye on the old.

Eep....but what about the jars of rye I inoculated? heh, thats what I was reffering to, just used the LC's as a example that the spores are viable....
the Pink buffalo and Golden teacher are side by side in the incubator and all three PB jar's are growing fast but theres no growth in the GT or TX jars....confusing.

although i totally agree there's just too much variability to really know whats going on... fresher spores especially seem to germinate quicker so who knows there what you've got... but IME i've noticed GTs to be a little slower than most, but never let me down in the long run

My G.T. is working but seems a little slower at this time as well, you have nothing to be worried about. Like coda said there is no ryme or reason sometimes to these things, just sit back and relax and give it a little more time(something I am sure you have heard and read here) and you should be fine. Alot of the Asian strains are faster colonizers...
this might have something to do with it.
I'm so fucking old that they didn't teach us temps in C's...when I went to school.
so I have no fucking idea what 26 C is equal to in degrees F.
sorry!~

but anything between 81 to 84 degrees F...and you will be in the optimum range.

give the other 2 strains a few more days...
and they might start up for you...it might just be a little early for them at 5 days.
