    #566546 - 03/01/02 05:04 AM (21 years, 6 months ago)

hey all, i was walking through joann fabrics in the new england area and i found a good deal on an indoor greenhouse. its about 4ft tallx3 x 3 and hase a clear vinyl cover that has a door that unzipps. its also has two shelves and so far its been working much better than my rubbermaids. where i went they were on sale 30% off, so from 50 bucks it was 35. pics to come soon

Hmm, nice. Looks like it would work well. I doubt I'd shell out the cash though. Not that I don't think it's a great deal, it's just that I just blew a ton of cash on new tanks and some salvia. Hm, maybe though, I'll go check it out at my local Jo's.

salvia eh? man that shit is fucked.... it makes you trip and all but i always am creeped out or deeply offended by something when im tripping on it (which in its own way is kind of cool). i used to take some syrian rue with it.... shudder. that stuff is worse... it just makes you wanna vomit. cant even stand the smell of it anymore. i may start taking the rue again with mushrooms but im not sure its gonna be worth it...

it has two trays, one thats 2 inches off the ground and one maybe 12 inches from the first. i went to my local HW store and bought some windows sealer stuff, just a folden up piece of plastic is what it really is, but i just layed that on the floor and folded it up along the sides so any condensation would just drip into there. on the bottom rack i have a rubbermaid lid with perlite on it, and a heating pad under that to heat up the perlite. i also have a 200w aquarium heater in a large jar with a wooden buubbler in it. the two combined makes it 100% RH and ~76f. i fan every day so the RH goes down quite a bit. all in all, i think its been worth the 35 bucks.
