Uh what do you do to clean your glass?

Mine's got probably 1/4 inch thick of resin all over the inside of it and it's starting to really taste like shit at the last hit or two.

What's a pothead to do?

Mix isopropyl alcohol with a enough salt to make a thin slush. Swirl it around inside. The undissolved salt crystals scrub the surfaces.

That always leaves a weird taste in the pipe. I just use *really* hot water and slosh it around.

well before i knew what i was doing i boiled my pipe in a pot.

pipe got cleaned out, but ruined the pot.

i guess to go the thrift store.

The taste only actually got unbearable the last couple days. I switched off to another newer pipe as a quick fix, but like someone said that one is my favorite.

I've been shaking hot water in it, but I figured there would be a better way.

it would need to be hotter than you can shake around in it.

O.K. I used the mixture, then got the bowl part crystal clean, then I realized the stem part makes a perfect seal under the kitchen faucet!

So I also blasted hot water out the bowl and shotgun for like 5 min. All sorts of shit flew out, and now my hands hane a thin coat of resin now that the alcohol dried. haha

I'm gonna try it now!

i bet it'll be alot better.

you'll never get it clean, but you can clear off a layer of junk and keep going.

All I have ever used is really hot water and my pipes always get squeeky clean. No sign of resin whatsoever.

boiling hot water helps, thats only if your piece can handle it. you CAN get it completely clean.

I always scraped the resin and then gave it to someonet o smoke cause (it gets you high) lol I don't think it does.
