What sunglasses do you wear?

Now that it's warmer out more people buy sunglasses.  I always wear these sunglasses since they make driving easier to see....and I like the looks of them.........post pic of your favorite sunglasses!

I also have regular sunglasses, round sunglasses that are Ray Ban they are really big, but I don't like them because the UV protection is only like 100%

These are 400% UV protection....makes everything pretty dark even in the sunshine.....

They're my favorite and I have like 200 sunglasses. From most expensive to least........these are only around 20$ or something.......about that

I'll take pictures l8ter of the other glasses.

FYI, you can't block more than 100% of UV light. If glasses say they're 400%, then they've got a serious case of bullshit. They probably just made the lenses really dark and decided to claim that they were 400% UV. Sunglasses are possibly the single most bullshit-infested product sold in america. Manufacteres put lies upon lies upon lies on the labels. Many of them don't even have ANY uv protection, but say they're 100% anyways.

AFAIK 400% would mean that the glasses reflect more UV light then actually hits them, their surface would defy the law of conservation of energy. You'd be wearing a perpetual energy machine on your face :tongue:

So if I have an NRG machine on my face would that mean I could levitate and zap robbers with my glasses? Or maybe shock a V or two?

I wear Oakley A-wires kind of pricey but I like the way they fit me.

I wear prescription glasses with polaroid lenses, so they turn dark when I'm out in the sun.

Killer Loops, had my pair since 2001. Spent 120 bucks, which is a lot to me, for sunglasses. Never expected to own them this long, so it was worth it.

Anybody seen or heard about the sunglass contact lenses? Texas used them in the Texas Vs. OU game last year.

I tried to find some but couldn't.

i got those aviators yesterday and opted for the polarized lenses with a mirror finish. apparently, polarized lenses take away glare and they had some kind of display in the store with a man made glare over some colors. you could only see the colors with the glasses on, and they had to be polarized lenses. i didn't really understand how it worked or why, anyone have an easy explanation?

also, while i was in my friends truck, his dark tinted windows (5%) were rolled up and i could see rainbows and colors all over his windows. i think it would be cool if i could duplicate this effect for the next time i trip. anyone have any ideas?

glare is caused by light reflecting off of a surface. Polarized lenses filter out light that reflects up from objects if you had two pairs of polarized lenses and you placed them on top of each other but rotated one pair 90 degrees you would have an opaque lens because it's filtering light from both directions up and down.

I don't have a pic of any of mine. They look pretty plain though.

Sometimes I like wearing the colored lens ones.. makes scenery look cool sometimes.
