Good Fuckin Movie?

Ok so my local video store closes in about an hour.

I feel like watching a flick...

I want to see something tthat will make me THINK. . A movie with insights which can be applied to real life. A movie that will move me. It should also have good cinematography.

I dont want to see a stupid comedy or a cheesy action flick. I want to see a movie made by a genius.

so... what can you shroomheads suggest?

-a space odyssey 2001
-clockwork orange
-waking life

Some of my favorites are: Boondock Saints, Donnie Darko, Dazed and Confused, oceans 11, blow, shawshank redemption, Stand by me, Pulp Fiction, and Jackie Brown... All are DAMN fine movies!!

The United States of Leland, GREAT movie, Ryan Gosling, Jenna Malone, the black guy from Hotel Rwanda and Picket Fenses whose name is totally escaping me, but I highly recommend it.

Natural Born Killers, but youve probably seen that. Theres a really good Charlie Kaufman movie, (not Adaptation although thats amazing), but its about this guy who is raised by animals and a psychologist tries to make him human. Quite excellent.

Where the Buffalo Roam....it's another Hunter S. Thompson movie. If you like Fear and Loathing you'll love this one. Bill Murray is more or less the shit in this movie.

The Stand (excellent but twisted flick) and The Crow (probably arguably the best movie of all time)

Ok ive decided to go with 8 1/2. If i cant find that then I will go for "Lawrence of Arabia". If I cant find that then ill go for "Brotherhood of the Wolf".

If i cant those it I will go for spikes 25th hour.
