I might try visiting this page next time I trip. Wonder how I would experience them then and start thinking about the way my mind interprets images. Could be fun, could really suck, I'll find out if I remember to do it.

correct me if I'm wrong but I think this one http://www.michaelbach.de/ot/lum_contrast-adapt/index.html is bogus. Do it normally first and then test it by starting again but cover up the image on the left the whole time.

Whats bogus about it? You need to see the image on the left for the illusion to work. Once the pointer is touching the pics, they are identical, yet appear different.

ok so the theory is when you move the mouse onto the images the left one goes clear and that causes the one on the right to appear blurred for a few seconds in comparison.

IN THEORY the right image should not change at all. Am I right so far? Someone correct me if I'm not.

So if you cover the left picture completely and move the mouse pointer over he right one it shouldn't change at all right? But it does.
