they showed the replay on sportscenter... i dont think he meant to hit the ump, but you just cant throw bats around like that. the bat hit the ump pretty damn hard, if he didnt have pads and a helmet, he probly would have been hurt pretty bad

yeah it was a bad move.. did u see how that bat was thrown.. maybe he didnt want it to hit the ump.. but he def wanted it to come close..

I just played the link above and you couldn't see him when he tossed it but that fucker wasn't flipped it was thrown. And I don't care if his back was to the ump or not. I can still throw something and hit you if I know where yu are even if I'm walking away.
Here we go
1. Suspended, without pay, entire season.
2. Huge fine, maximum allowed
3. Criminal prosecution
4. Civil lawsuit

I'd probably do that if a pitcher threw a baseball at me purposely, but never at an umpire. That's fucked up.
