I heard iPods in the US were as loud as they can go. The ones you can buy in the UK (maybe other countries too) apparently have the volume limiter on.

Could have made that up though, I'm not sure.

Na, there are certain songs I have that play at a low volume already and need the extra volume.

O.K. but the new ipod firmware upgrade I just got says volume limiter is a new feature. And I already did it, dammit.

here might be a way...

format the ipod by going through my computer, right clicking it, format the bitch, then get the firmware you want and put it on?
