I smoked them before I smoked regular cigarettes and now I can't smoke them at all. Their taste is so gross to me now, it sucks, I can't enjoy a clove whatsoever.

Moral of this story: Don't over do them, because their sweet taste won't last.

I smoked those for 3 years, at one point far too regularly.

After a while your lungs really start to feel the burn.

I dont smoke cigs at all, but I have a few packs of cloves around for when I'm really fucked up...

I have Bali Hai's that I like alot better than Djarum...Cheaper too...

I used to smoke those and the specials. I started running, and I haven't been able to even look at one since.

The only thing I smoke now is the ganja and a little hookah now and then...


PS. Danamine is right, their glorious taste doesn't last forever. Maybe in a few years they'll taste good again.

my roommate smokes the blacks. i did for a very short period of time. they got way too harsh to be smoking often so i had to switch to du maurier. anyways, compare the nicotine and tar and shit content to a regular smoke. it's gross.

i used to smoke sampoernas, djarums were always too sweet for my taste. like the others, i stopped a while ago and now the taste is mildly nauseating.

those blacks always sketched me out though: i mean, aside from the clove oil (which is a natural anesthetic... i don't know what that means for your lungs), and the tobacco, you've got paper soaked in accelerant and black dye of some sort. can't be good.

enjoy it while it lasts. be wary, though: cloves are a gateway drug. i too smoke camels now.... :rolleyes:

p.s.
Phillip Morris recently acquired Sampoerna and pulled them from the US market. Which means even if i wanted to, i couldn't go pick up a pack of my once-favorite hippie cigarrete. Bastard tobbaco conglomerates.
