Sacramento Morels (Pics)...

I found these at the junior college in south sac. I'm not 100% sure if they are really morels as I've never seen a real morel in person. But when I compare these to the pictures I've seen they look like the real deal. Can you guys verify this for me before I cook these up in some butter and garlic?

I sure hope these are morels because there were a ton of babies growing everywhere.

Also, can you tell if the yellow mushrooms are gymnopolus (sp?)?

pretty sure there morels! oh man im sooo excited for this season! i hope i find some! Snaggletooth: fuck yeah there in the bay! the season is almost among us! im thinking of hitting up mendo for spring break this week, see if i get any luck, though i think its too early.

i have filled a 5 gallon bucket full of morels while walking down a street near roseville. I just picked these today
