Would you buy lsd from this guy?

I'm at a local bar downtown on wednesday night(2.50 highballs).  I'm playing pool with this young punk, who admittedly looks like a mean fucker.

I start asking him what he does and without hesitation, "I don't got a job, I sell coke".  I'm kind of a cocky, sarcastic bugger when I"m that loaded, so who knows what I said to him.  He seemed like a complete loser.  Started telling me about having to "off" someone and all this other tough guy gangster shit.

Anyhow, later on in the night I told him I wasn't into those type of drugs, but more a mind drug freak.  I told him I was looking for lsd.  Right away he says he could help me out, he knows a guy who supposedly just layed a 1000 lot(although I think he acquired it, rather then print it).  I told him I'd be back same time next week.

But I don't really plan to.  There's just something about buying something, that resembles knowledge, peace, love, consciousness expansion to me.....from a low ass coke dealer who brags about beating and "offing" people.

Would you go for it anyhow?  Why?  I'm very stubborn that way myself.  Perhaps a little ignorant, but hey, all of us have flaws  :smirk:

I wouldn't do it, but that's just me. In my experience anybody slinging coke is a lowlife piece of shit that wouldn't hesitate taking your money any chance they get.

Oh probably, but say I could have it(we are talking big "what ifs") with no hassles...good potency and cheap...would you?

I wouldn't.  Like you say, they are ideologically different.  I really want to purchase my lsd from someone who understands some degree of what I understand.  :shrug:

are you serious? I can't believe how often I see utter filth like this on the Shroomery.

how about all the research chemicals that get sold as LSD? or all the LSD that gets sold for $10+ per hit? how about all the sugar cubes/candies/paper with NOTHING on it?

With that reasoning, anybody selling any drug should be considered a low life piece of shit that is just trying to rip you off?

I'm amazed at what some people will post about various drugs here.

I live in a northern british columbia town and I have NEVER, not once, met a coke dealer who was a "good person".

Obviously, someone who sells 2ci as acid is a piece of shit too...but that's not what we are talking about.

The coke brings bad people around, in this city anyway. Don't get me wrong, I still have friends who use coke and have been around it lots.....and I've seen a lot of bad shit around the coke scene.

There are always going to be groups and cliches and opinions. Mine? I've seen nothing but bad stuff come from being heavy in the coke.

I bought acid off of a junkie for a few. Its not about what other drugs they are into its about whether or not i got the right vibes off of the guy.

That's my whole basis(I agree with you). I got nasty vibes from this guy and he was obviously a real piece of shit.

So no matter the potency, price and GUARANTEE for legit lsd.....I still wouldn't buy from him.

In a northern money town, I've watched perfectly decent people go way downhill from getting into the coke scene.  As much as it hurts, you CAN put quite a bit of blame on the useless drug.

Obviously same can be said for a lot of drugs, but we aren't talking about other drugs.

I was just asking in that situation, if people would buy lsd.  I was expecting their to be opposite points of view...which is cool  :cool:  Diversity is perfectly normal and accepted.

My point is that stereotyping someone based on their drug of choice is poor form.  some people dig coke, some people's friends dig coke, some people do a lot of coke and are very successful...  someone's experience is limited to THEIR EXPERIENCE, saying that people who "sling coke" are "low life POS" is a generalization that isn't proper.

sure, I would buy from him, like 1-2, to try and see, maybe get to know him for a bit first, if you get arrested trying to buy 1-2 hits like that, a lawyer would laugh.

if some total-stoner-looking guy said the same thing, "I sell pot, no job" blah blah "have to off some guy"  yada yada "I'll sell you acid" whatever, would you think differently?

I definetely would think different. I wouldn't want to buy pot from a lowlife piece of shit like described above or acid for that matter. Any dude that starts talking about "offing" somone is immediately a piece of shit and I wouldn't feel right even thinking of buying something from or through him.

I think it is a fairly fair and accurate generalization, in my opinion, to say that all coke dealers are pieces of shit. I've met quite a lot of people in the scene and people dealing the "scene" and the ratio of 'pieces of shit' - 'decent humans' is 500-1.

That's not really the main point though. Can we agree that anyone talking/bragging about "offing" someone automatically makes that person a piece of shit? And would you buy anything through or from them? Not a chance for me

Let's not discuss so much the nature of coke dealers in general. The point is that the guy was an asshole who started talking about offing people and acting tough. The second he is told someone wants acid, BAM, he wants to sell it. Now, I believe we can safely call this guy a massive piece of shit, regardless of your stance on the "are coke dealers bad" issue.

No way would I buy from him in this lifetime. Fuck that.

when are you hippies going to realize that drugs are a business and you are its patrons? Do you even know where the profits of your drug use are going? Don't be naive. People who produce and distrubute drugs are no more ethical than the president of RJ Reynolds, Texaco Oil, or Walmart, and in fact, drug dealers are most certainly LESS ETHICAL than those people.

You shouldn't have any illusions about what you support with your habits. The days of the Brotherhood of Light are over. Get used to dealing with scumbags as long as prohibition is in effect.

As far as my advice to the original poster, I say purchase a small quantity, try it, and if its no good, you're only out a little dough. Cheap lesson. Every new connection is a gamble. But you shouldn't let your own predjudices cheat you out of an opportunity.

So what if the guy did kill people? You think if a drug dealer gets ripped off he can call the police? Sometimes, asses need to be kicked and sometimes people need to get capped. Thats just a hard motherfuckin fact of life yall are gonna hafta face if you want to keep livin the high life. This game ain't all rainbows and sunshine, folks.
