Looking for a good computer game
    #5460143 -

I'm looking for a game somewhat like everquest, where you can make your own character and get different shit for him/her. Doesnt have to be online, Id rather not pay monthly for it. Let me know of any games that sound sorta like this. Thanks all.

Check out the new Morrowind Oblivion, open-ended RPG game with levels/skills/items/etc.

Also may want to check out GuildWars, online but no monthly fee

This ladder has been ruined by non-ladds staying logged on during rollover last year and bringing all their dupes with them.

It had better roll in July, I got some shit for my NL duelers.

Neverwinter Nights and its expansion packs (or buy them all as the "Platinum Edition").

GREAT game. Plus, there are literally thousands of expansion modules downloadable online that have been done by Neverwinter Nights users, the very best of which are as good as the ones done by the games designers themselves. The game comes with an "authoring" program that lets you design your own scenarios, and a whole hell of a lot of people have done just that.

I LOVE this game and heartily recommend it to anyone into the whole Dungeons and Dragons character-developing roleplayer genre of games. It doesn't get any better than Neverwinter Nights.

well... i must tell you that diablo 2 pwns n00bs all day... it must be 100 times better then everyquest, quildwars, and all other MMO games... but it doesn't pwn WoW. So if you were to get an RPG/MMO game get Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 Expansion Pack because that must have been the most pwnage 2 years of my life

I used to love Half-Life and it's various mods... but my computer is too slow and outdated now and I can't afford to load up anymore HL on my PC anymore... but I would. I really would if I could.
