i hate roommates, so glad i dont have to deal with em anymore. had one, cool guy, his bedroom was right next to mine, and he had a damn parrot in there, squakin all the damn time, holy fucking annoying.

good luck with the filth, i dealt with that too at another place, looked like a damn dirtbomb went off

I agree with living with a roomie you can handle.. I moved in with a friend which I was told that can be a huge mistake.. and hey it might be in the long run but I have been here for 8 months and we still get along great.. only one MAJOR spat... but shit we still do a lot of shit together.. like we are going out for some st. patty drinks when she is off work.. right now I could not ask for a better roomie!

shit.. there is NO way I could live with 5 other ppl.. i mean damn I only ever lived with 2 other ppl at the same time in my life.. I think i would murder ppl in their sleep! :cool:

Um...have you thought about confronting them about their piggish habits? Tell them it's unacceptable and you're going to start being a dick if they don't start doing their share.

(i.e. Break all the dirty dishes and toss the shards in their shoes)

You don't have to break all of them...just one or two to get your fucking point across. I'm sorry, but if you're paying rent, you should be able to live in comfort and cleanliness. People I know wouldn't let their ANIMALS live in the same conditions you are describing. Don't be afraid to get nasty with this. Sounds like it's fucking ridiculous. Complain to the landlord if you have to.

I'm getting really pissed off for you. I wish I was there so I could ruin their lives myself.
