Zoo Doo Lottery time again.....

hi..guys

its that time again.

time to get your post cards sent into the Woodland Park Zoo here in Seattle...
for the annual lottery drawing for Zoo Doo.

how it works...
you send in a post card between March 25th to April 8th.

To:

Zoo Doo
Woodland Park Zoo
601 N. 59th St.,
Seattle, WA 98103.

include the amount of poo you want on the post card.
and they have a drawing...if you are picked in the lottery you are called.
and if you are selected you get to go pick up Zoo Doo for a very low price.

Example :

Bags...for $4 to $6
Garbage can full... for $8 to $10
Truck loads... between $35 to $60 depending on the size of your pickup truck.

and of course you can purchase the regular 2 gallon buckets for $14.95 outside of the lottery...while they are available.

my favorite bulk substrate...is high quality made mushroom compost.

agar makes some...I was lucky enough to recieve some of his once.



ZooDoo is quality made compost.

Dung Bros. used to make some quality compost.

Kowanite makes some quality made compost.

Aged horse poo is my 2nd choice...mostly due to availability.
I have a free endless supply of it from my Uncles farm.

Tenn Stud makes some really nice pre-pastuerized horse poo... I highly recommend it.

Worm castings...I make my own.

Cow manure with straw is probably next to last on my list.

Straw alone...I hate working with Straw!~
Royal pain in the ass!~
and you only get one really good flush from it...usually.

They claim that they are saving $60k in disposal costs. With an annual budget of $30 million, it think it's more about pleasing the tree huggers. When I was a kid it was free to get into the zoo, cost a dime to ride a pony. Now it's over $10. Of course, when I was a kid most animals hadn't been invented yet.
