Reclassification of Species...
    #5370486 - 03/06/06 11:16 AM (17 years, 10 months ago)

Being an individual with an enormous amount of interest in topics concerning evolution and the human species, I took it upon myself to dedicate some of my spare time endeavoring on the subjects.

I have come to the conclusion that there is in fact a remarkable trend within the genus Homo?

A life-form I believe to be a subspecies.

We?ve referred to all humans, collective, as Homo sapiens? however?

This classification may be faulty, since the majority of the human species, although appearing like Homo sapiens morphologically; lack the ?sapience,? which distinguishes this species from other Homininae.

Sapient, adj. Having great wisdom or discernment.

Presently, in my opinion, only a minor portion of the population are truly Homo sapiens, with the remainder being in fact an imitator species, designed to look and act as a Homo sapiens, but certainly not to think like one?

The majority populace should be categorized as Homo idios?

And the small percentile of rational thinkers designated as Homo sapiens?

Anyone have anything to add?

I think we are now referred to as Homo Sapien Sapien, leaving some to remain Homo Sapien.

"I'm not so naive or simplistic to believe we can eliminate war. We're not going to change human nature anytime soon. It isn't that we aren't rational. We are rational. But reason has limits. There's a quote from T.S. Eliot that I just love:

'We shall not cease from exploring
And at the end of our exploration
We will return to where we started
And know the place for the first time.'

Now that's in a sense where I'm beginning to be."

Robert S. McNamara

In other words Humanity even at it's most rational is prone to mistakes, to idiocy, because no one is omniscient, no one can be perfectly aware of all variables.

Idios is to much of a resemblence if you are refering to the intellectual position of anything thats not sapien, sapien being Intictian is gay as well and resembles intellegent, hmm ima think of a term for that probably wont be liked.

Aisling, this is what seperates 'Idios' from 'Sapiens,' essentially, that the human species IS flawed and will continue to be... such is our nature. A realization of this, probably has a direct correlation to your DNA... (kidding.)

'Idios' likes to pretend otherwise...

Wheres the extra chromo when we need it, immunity towards everything toxic... We all are familiar with the basic build that everything is/were all the beings/gases/sun/planets blue prints have or are known to us since we consist of such particles/atoms w/e our galaxy or possibly universe if there is one have all the same things if you were to make everything readable as elements/gases/atoms it would show we are all connected therefor we as humans are meant to do what we do naturaly, and now that such toxins of high concentration and newer lethal gases created by chemists using already known chemicals then eventually if ever we will evolve to the changed enviroment, who knows we most likely wont be any smarter or different just more suited for such hazardous conditions, but these chemicals have all been released worldwide by much radiation during WWII so we could have a long time to wait, who knows I dont I cant even define all I said because its just a theory I felt I could relate or have a good time posting.

You watched 'Human-Zee' too, huh?

Very good show, I must admit.

And yes, supposedly everything is made up of subatomic particles (electrons, protons, neutrons and to a lesser degree photons and neutrinos) and if you believed in the 'string theory' then you could argue everything just one big network... Thus, 'we're all one.'

But if you have some people with a custom built super PC on a network with people using dells, do you say, "Everyone on the network has a sick ass computer." NO. Because there's quite a few Dells in there...

yeah,I watched it. It wa pretty interesting.

Its cool you knew exactly to what I was referring, I even went a searching for links for my post.

I ain't sure what you are talking about, I never said we are all one. Sure we are all made of basically the same stuff, but so are buildings for the most part. They depsite having similar constructs and materials are obviously not all the same. We are all arreanged differently, different mixutres of the same shit. Some make good cocktails and some make poor cocktails.

He said something which hinted the 'we're all one' conception...

Notchu.

I wish your theory were true, it would simply answer many difficult questions like how George W. Bush was elected twice and so forth , but I digress...

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to say that a new evolutionary jump is in order? Or do you believe it has happened or is happening now?

It would seem that true Sapiens are not as sporadic as has been shown in history, however, this could be attributed to the fact that true sapiens, in Europe specifically and elsewhere, were prosecuted for their forays into Satanic capillaries like science...

Whereas now they are free to 'think,' and therefor have claimed their biological right to sapience.

The two species have coexisted and there is extensive evidence suggesting heavy hybridization...
