Yellow submarine

yeah...... that movie is pretty fucking crazy i think it was basically made just to trip on. its a good moive no dought about that. i wanna watch it on acid sometime that would be trippy as "F" (fuck).

has anyone see this movie on LSD and if so what was it like?

I've listened to the soundtrack while tripping, and that was pretty insane. I don't know if I would like watching the movie though, it would probably bring me down somewhat.

I watched it for the first time tripping on L it was awesome. It took me a couple times of watching it but theres a part when the climax of Biillly Sheeears where paul rips of a mask and its really John. Those guys really knew what was up.

i watched it on mushrooms and it scared the shit out of me. the part with the big blue hand turning people to stone sent me to a bad bad place in my mind. i'd glady watch it on LSD though, i bet it'd be much nicer. :tripping:

It wouldn't bring you down at all. I've watched it tripping many times. It's funny, it's extremely psychedelic, it has psychedelic music from the greatest band in rock history and it has some really good social commentary. "Yellow Submarine" is hands down the greatest trip movie ever made (unless you don't like The Beatles).

i disagree. Parts of it are alittle to... dark and weird for tripping.
The movie itself is kind of slow. Its great sober, but i wouldn't fuck with it while tripping.

I can see what you mean somewhat but I personally don't think "Yellow Submarine" is very dark. "The Wall" is dark. "Yellow Submarine" is very light in my opinion and every time I've shown it to someone tripping it always puts them in a good mood.

i saw it tripping BALLS in a cabin in the middle of the woods.. couldnt tell if what i was seeing was in the movie or my mind! watched it sober to find out much of it was in my mind

Do yourself a favor and watch it tripping. You will love it. It sends me through so many emotions, but mostly it just puts me in amazement.

Anyway, you may have found "Magical Mystery Tour" DVD on that site, but it's not an official release (I don't think).  I'm pretty sure that MMT was never officially released on DVD and that the DVDs that had been sold were basically bootlegs.  I want to see an official release of the movie with extras and all that.  I don't know if it will ever happen, because only die hard Beatles fans would buy it.

Did anyone download it from that link?  If so, what did you think?
