poppy tea experiance not going so well.

Me being interested in opiates had to try poppy tea. I remember using hydrocodone and extracting it from the pills to get a very pleasant and euphoric high with a slight sedation. Well I've tried using dried poppy pods four times now and I get a huge sedation with nausaea and a barely noticeable euphoria unlike the waves of pleasure with hydrocodone. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but it isn't near as good as my experiances with hydrocodone. Any tips or are they just weak pods maybe? I used 3 the first time and went all the way up to 8 which didn't increase the pleasure at all.

In my experience with pods/seeds the euphoria generally isn't that great compared to the sedation/lethargy. I imagine the euphoria would be pretty good at higher doses but that would also mean more side-effects.

It seems some people just don't deal with opium/opiates very well and get itchy/nauseated and don't feel much euphoria, you could be one of those people.

Sounds to me like you should try a smaller dose,and a better,happier setting to drink the tea in.

It's a more moderate come up and steady sustenance than other opiates. I always tell people to make their extraction = tea, using less water nd then the concentration is more powerful for the come up. Otherwise your body must go through more digestion to pull the goodies out. Also a double boil gets more out. So simmer once with just enough water to soak, then do it again, and try to get less than a cup total of liquid. It shouldn't take most people more than four giganteums to get off.
