Why couldn't I take some cow poop, wet it, put in foil pie tins, bake at 210 for two hours, wait for it to cool, and innoculate through the foil???

Oh, yeah, I like sluts.

because if you bake it at 210 for 2 hours you just wasted your time wetting it before hand.. baking it will dry the shit out of it.. (no pun intended)

Sure it would...theoretically.

But If I put aluminum foil over it, wouldn't the evaporating water just gather on the Foil and then drip back onto the poop???

Or, on the otherhand, couldn't I eaither use the upward draft from my over to add purified water After baking, Or even just use a lot of spore water or MYcelial water in the poop???

I was wondering something similar to this as well.

For species such as pans or even cubes,. i have made dung/straw/grain cakes (cubes) )that have colonized quite nicely, and also fruited well.

My question lies herein: If I were to make FP bags with bulk substrate(straw, dung, castings, what-have-you) premixed with grains, would it not colonize all in one step as the cakes have? This would lend to an extremely easy way of just dumping it all in a tray, fully colonized to fruit. Normally I would not ask a question like this, but my PC is dead, and I cannot test this until I get a new one. Any thoughts/theories/questions/experience/etc?
