god dammit my knee is fucked up....

Man, I had this problem when I was younger where every now and then my left knee would lock up and I would not be able to bend it or walk on it for a half hour or so. This happened every few months for a cou-ple of years. It hadn't happened for probably 10 years until tonight. It feels like the muscles in my knee are very tight and I can't move them. When this happened before it would eventually cure itself, so I hope that still holds true.

Anyone else ever had this problem?

It's cool now......I can walk again.....it just hasnt happened in so long that it kinda shocked me...hopefully it doesnt start happening all the time again. I don't want to have to get surgery on it or anything like that.

My ankles tend to freeze up pretty bad when the weather gets cold and rain is a comin'. I'll probably need surgury down the line and I'll definitely have arthritus in them. Not looking forward to that.

Whenever that happens to me, which is infrequently, I can always count on a couple of days of record breaking rain to be on their way. It never fails.

If you got insurance, get a MRI. My knee did that years ago. I'd baby it, ignore it, always got better. Well, turns out I had a torn ACL {which I finally had repaired} Now, 12 years later, severe arthritis in my knees is my new best friend. That, and this cyst which I had drained once already. Now the docs want to remove the screw from the old ACL surgery,and cut out the cyst...Needless to say I'm not too excited about all of this.Get it checked out, you only got 2 knees...
