What does .ISO mean?

I'm downloading Diablo 2 off of BearShare right now, but its a ".ISO" format.

Just didn't know what it meant. Says "Diablo 2 Install Disk.Iso".

i dunno what it means.. but all of the psp games i downloaded are .iso

an ISO is a disk image

that "Install Disk.ISO" is basically just a digital form of the actual install disk for diable two. and yeah daemon tools will help you use it like a real CD by creating a virtual drive to put it into =]

on nero theres a burning button that says burn from image, thats what an iso is.
and for psp's, iso is the umd rip. i was using 1.5 on my psp and downloading the 1.5 games, but then i bought grand theft auto. and im never going back  :rastamon:

I keep losing every copy of D2 I buy though. I've gone through at least three copies of that game.

I was on torrentspy, and so far everyone has said that its in Polish.

I'm just downloading it from BearShare. I hope its still able to play online.

So that daemontools program is only for windows. Anyone know of a program to use .ISO files on Macs?

I can't seem mine to get mine to run.  I tried opening the file, but it said windows can't find anything to open it will.  I selected Daemon tools, but it said its not a valid Win32 file. :frown:
