eurorack 802a soundblaster card yamaha dd55 pads sonar 4 Well i now see how hard it is to lay down a drum track using this yamaha, its giving me some triggering problems, hit 2 pads at the same time and one might not sound, but i'm new and once i get how to cut and join audio files i should cure it. But not just triggering, the pedals and the pads are to small but thats life.
Then when i get a mic i've been told to try just recording some of my cymbals and use the midi drums to, this will help eliminate triggering.
Any ways here's a track i layed down, be honest with sound quality or is it a drum track or a , i just played this right off the top but restrictions with the midi reduce all i could put into it on an acoustic kit.
I am getting joining files but just missing one small part but i'll come and i've only had sonar 4 a few days.
Metranome.......still to master thats without a metranome.
CUT AND PASTE LINK-CHOOSE FREE THEN D/L

listened to the first thing with the bongo's and drums. pretty full and nice sound it doesn't seem to have panning, like all the sounds are centered. is it a mono recording? try to pan your sounds for a more interesting spacial experience. oh and a *.mp31 file is kinda hard to open without editing the 1 out
the drumtrack is all distorted, probably because of clipping. My guess is you recorded it too loud

This like my first time getting into it, even getting the cables together was a challenge. Hearing the first recording was as good a buzz as seeing my first shroom grow. All advice appreciated and when i get a mic or 2 and try my accoustic kit i'll be able to lay down a better track.
The DD55 is good but very cramped to play, well after 3 hours it is.
It's a borrowed mixer Eurorack 802a but i bought one on ebay as soon as i got the bug.
Sonar 4 i'm using anyone familiar with it? and i'm just getting the basics just now but enjoying it.
I've already had a track sent from USA to add a touch or 2 and if anyone wants to try a long distance project i'm in.
Know what you mean about the mp31 tell me, how did you edit out the one?
heres another before and after both mp3 and small http://rapidshare.de/files/12496781/RM___Lou_-_Under_The_Lights.mp3.html
