Motivation

I swear I suffer from some type of motivation deficiency disorder. What do you guys do when all you want to do is veg out sleep eat and be lazy all day and you have TONS of work to do but you can't stop procrastinating?

That behavior is pretty common among people with ADD or ADHD, and it royally fucks us over too.

I haven't puffed since yesterday afternoon.

And yeah, I think I may suffer from ADD except I can pay attention fine in class.

If you had ADD you'd probably be more certain of it by now.

I was diagnosed in kindergarten, and it was pretty obvious anyhow.

So why do I suffer chronic lack of motivation? I supposed it has something to do with my depression and I haven't been consistently taking my zoloft.

You know, some people just have that kind of personality.

I'm one of them. The ADHD don't help, but most of it is just me being a slacker by nature.

Chances are it's just the way you tend to act, which can be changed over time.

Force yourself to start with what you have to do. Starting something is the hardest, but once you're doing it it's never so bad as it seems! The more you do it the easier it gets to start again :thumbup:

Heh, pretty common in everyone. When I have a shitload of stuff to do, I never want to, and can usually think of several ways to procrastinate. I'm not ADD, just human
